Hand analysis

Analyse preflop actions by seat and stack

Read opportunities, GTO comparisons and trends, then inspect the hands behind a statistic.

Choose a table

Open Hand & Action Analysis → Preflop Analysis. The upper position matrix has 16 metrics for the selected stack band. The lower pressure table has 9 metrics across all depths in the current filtered pool, with IP/OOP breakdowns. Their different scopes can produce different values.

Stack bands and seat groups

MTT bands in BB are: 10 below 15; 20 from 15 to below 30; 40 from 30 to below 60; 80 from 60 to below 90; and 100 at 90 or above. Cash uses the 100 band. Changing bands clears selected rows in the upper table.

EP combines EP, UTG, UTG1 and UTG2. MP combines MP, LJ and HJ. The remaining columns are CO, BTN, SB and BB. A position column can therefore represent several seats.

Read frequencies, opportunities and targets

A percentage is matching actions n ÷ eligible opportunities m × 100. The denominator is usually not all hands. Read n/m before comparing frequencies; missing data or no opportunities is not 0%.

Observed frequency, GTO target and matching details

Position-cell targets come from a matching strategy. Hover to check table size, depth, rake and any approximate match. Arrows compare displayed values at their rounded precision. Green means at or above the target, not better play: 26.4% versus 22.1% establishes a frequency difference only.

Select rows to chart cumulative changes as hands accumulate; use Ctrl, Shift or drag selection to compare rows. Upper-table trends follow the stack band; lower-table trends use the full filtered pool. Points are normally sampled every 10 hands up to 10000 hands and every 100 hands for larger samples, with the final change point retained.

Inspect related hands

Right-click a value and select Show Hands. A total uses that table's scope; a position cell also restricts seat and stack band, while a lower-table IP/OOP cell restricts relative position. Use the list to inspect matching actions, not to infer the total opportunity count.

6Call Open RaiseCORThe denominator is opportunities where Hero's first preflop decision faces the first raise and no player has called it; the numerator is Hero's calls in those opportunities. Branches where Hero checked earlier, overcalls, squeezes, and multi-raise branches are excluded.

Pressure table

Direct3Bet, F3B, H2nLimp, UnraisedCall, F4B, SQZ and F2SQZ use the corresponding definitions above. D3B / Direct3Bet, Limp / H2nLimp and URC / UnraisedCall are different abbreviations across the two tables. C3B counts calls facing a 3bet; LF counts folds after limping. Each uses its own eligible opportunities.

AI analysis

Open the page's AI analysis action and follow provider configuration. Generate a fresh result after changing the sample, and assess suggestions against opportunity counts and actual hands.

Missing targets or data

For a missing GTO target, inspect strategy coverage and matching details. Imported action statistics remain separate from that target. For an unexpected percentage, check the table's stack scope, n/m and related hands before interpreting a change.
